Jesus Christ is a Bridegroom looking for a Bride.
In
my relationship with God, I was shown that Jesus Christ may have had a
love. There may have been a Jewish Noble woman, who given Jesus
married her, he may have been King of the Jews in a more physical way.
Jesus is King of the Jews. Given he married this woman, he may have
been more on a path to being King of The Jews in such a way as it may
have created Civil War in Judea, Rome......or something. That path, to
being King in that way, was laid out for Jesus potentially.
Where
is this in the Bible? Some of it is implied understanding given a big
picture understanding of God, who God is, and certain spiritual
concepts.
25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. John 21:25)
Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)
The Son of Man is a Suffering Servant or Servant to One's Sorrow.
I
am not Jesus. God made me a suffering servant or a servant to one's
sorrow. God set me up to see some things, and write and give testimony
about it.
I am a servant of
God........as a suffering servant, someone may have hit rock bottom, had
nothing, and worked to not be hurting. They used reason and sought
God, and worked to better their quality of life. Reason and Faith. The
disciples were set out in twos to preach the gospel. They went out
with nothing but the clothes on their backs more or less. Where would
they find their next meal? Where would they bath? Where would they
find shelter? They may have become suffering servants doing God's will,
working to build The Kingdom of God. They learned to lean on God.
Jesus
having a love or being in love is not necessarily a major theological
point. I don't know that it changes anything other than growing in a
greater understanding of Jesus and some spiritual concepts.
Previous Post: Christian Mysticism - Logos and Eros.
As a Bridegroom Looking for A Bride, Jesus was both Logos and Eros. Part of Eros Love may be:
Eros
Definition of Eros2 : the sum of life-preserving instincts that are manifested as impulses to gratify basic needs, as sublimated impulses, and as impulses to protect and preserve the body and mind — compare death instinct
A
suffering servant. A bridegroom looking for a bride. Someone looking
to satisfy his basic needs for survival.......which may also be
seeking a helper and a woman as a man for some men. As King of the
Jews, and having people looking to kill him from birth, Jesus may have
developed a "Death Instinct." Given he was seeking marriage with a
Jewish Noble Woman, there may have been some scrapes with The Law and
authority? I don't know. What we do know is that being a suffering
servant would be a Spiritual Concept, as well as a Bridegroom looking
for a Bride, and that Jesus may have been doing specific things that
may not have been 100% important to make into the Bible, but may still
have been true.
Enduring Spiritual Themes:
- The Song of Songs has been in the Bible as a representation of God's love for Israel.
- In the New Testament, the Church is a Bride for Christ.
- Harlotry has been a theme in the Bible. (Ezekiel 23)(Revelations 17)
- Is someone or a Nation or a Church more of a Virgin Israel or a Harlot Ezekiel 23?
- Christ is to man as man is to woman. (1 Corinthians 11:3)
- A wife should be meek before her husband. A man is meek before God.
- Jesus Christ was virginal.
In
Ezekiel 24, why did God take Ezekiel's wife? Man is made in the image
of God. The Spiritual may be a reflection. Ezekiel, through God's
Holy Spirit, gave some hard allegories in Ezekiel 16 and Ezekiel 23
about Jerusalem or Samaria being like God's wife. God took Ezekiel's
wife. This may have been a representation of God about to lose his
wife or bring his Judgement on her.
In
The Book of Hosea, Hosea is told to marry a prostitute. Why? It was a
representation of how bad Israel and Judah had been, and that God
would not leave them.
There
are layers to the Spiritual. On one level, there may be something
physical. On another level, a spiritual allegory or something. On one layer, there may have
been The Church as a Bride for Christ. On another level, Christ may have been working to marry someone. Christ may have had a love,
that he didn't marry on a physical level. He was virginal.
