What is the difference between someone being wicked........and not necessarily righteous, but not arousing God's anger? God judges The Heart. The Truth Hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. Ignorance is bliss? Given someone was ignorant to some degree, of how God judges the Heart, there may have been some leeway. Given someone is coming into understanding, know they now better.
A man is a Jew in Mossad in 2024. He is serving his country and nation. He hatches a scheme to blow up the pagers of Israel's enemies. What is in his heart? Thumos is righteous anger. A man may have felt righteous anger over October 7th attacks. That would be natural and healthy. A man serving his country, looking to protect his loved ones, that would be natural and healthy. Someone who had a hatred in his heart for people, and was sadistic, there may have been bad thoughts and bad things in someone's heart. That would be leaning towards wicked.
Given someone from Mossad, or the CIA, was reading this, and coming into some understanding, they probably would need to retire. They are starting to become aware of how God judges sin. Someone becoming aware of how God judges sin, did he start thinking like a "Demonic Lawyer?" Demons were legalists. Someone aware of how God judges sin may have been working to justify, in his mind and heart, wicked actions. We are justified through the sacrifice of The Lord Jesus Christ. Someone choosing God is choosing God's righteous ways, and coming closer to God. Sanctification is a process someone goes through towards being made Holy. Was someone rejecting righteousness and potential sanctification?
Women are attractive. It may be healthy for men to look upon a woman. Women and children may have represented hope for a man in an impersonal way. Hope for future. That may be in a personal future, someone would like to be married, that may be in a societal way. A wicked man....that hope was twisted towards carnality. It is not wrong to desire a wife, and have intimate relations. Someone lusting after married women or celebrities or looking to have carnal knowledge of girls outside of marriage, that would be wicked. God judges the heart.
God knows your thoughts. God knows what is in a man's heart. God sees everything. Becoming aware of God may bring a terror of God. A man works to level his heart, and keep his thoughts pure, and always seeking God.
Prophecy. End Times. Growing in Faith. Who is God? What is God's character? How does God work in the world? How does someone lean on God? Learning some things that may or may not have been taught in Church, as well as seeing God's hand in current world events.

Someone becoming aware of God, he may have started to perceive a Chain of Command. Was there something wrong in someone's chain of command? Given there was a wicked person in the chain of command.......and someone is becoming aware of God, and how God judges sin......that can be rough.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Does shedding the blood of men still make someone less holy after Christ?
ReplyDeleteYes.
Jesus Christ, as our High Priest, he made things clean. We don't worry about clean and unclean, but Holiness is different. Given we are building the Kingdom of God, and looking to be right, a former soldier who shed the blood of men may be a priest or a monk. Someone who shed the blood of men would not be able to be a Bishop or higher. Certain bishops in the middle ages who were known to be warriors, they used clubs or maces? That is still dangerous, and not right.
