The Question: How did you learn, or come to many of the understandings you write about in this blog?
God has been around forever. There has been a lot of knowledge of God out there. I was 30-32 years old or so as I came into great understanding. I hadn't been on this earth very long as a 30 year old man. What did I miss?
To Occult - To hide away.
Did people perceive God differently in 1820 than they do today? Why and what happened? In 1890 or so, given someone was applying to The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, The Book of John and Aesop Fables were required knowledge. Were people in 1890 perceiving God differently than today? It may be that there was "Mysticism" in American Political Cartoons. A lot of that may have been missed given someone didn't have God.
I am certified Social Studies teacher. I had a lot of background knowledge in history. After I received a calling from God, and started working for God, I ended up with massive Recall Memory. Recall Memory isn't exactly photographic memory. Recall Memory would be where anything that I had learned, or experienced, in my past, that I may have needed or could use to build God's Kingdom, I may have ended up recalling it. I suppose we may say that I ended up with a memory like an elephant, and I was going to ride some Democrats all the way to Jerusalem.

I had massive Recall Memory, and I was recalling scriptures as needed, things from novels or non-fiction I had read, sins that I needed to confess......anything that God may have needed me to do or remember, I may have recalled.
A year or so after I found myself saying "I have a memory like an elephant, and I am going to ride some Democrats all the way to Jerusalem," I ended up finding an interesting news article.

I have had many such moments where I said or experienced something, and later discovered a history of why.
God has been around forever, and some knowledge of God may have been occulted. A lot of that knowledge or understanding, it may have been public in the media via music or movies or video games or whatever. Someone needed spiritual discernment with God to be able to identify it, and possibly clean it off. God is a creator. It all belongs to God.
Someone like Apostle Paul, he was a learned man and scholar. It may be that he also developed a recall memory with God. After Saul was confronted on the road to Damascus, and got his bearing straight, it may be that he started connecting dots in his head, that he hadn't before, and seeing Truth and God.
