What is in a man's heart? God judges The Heart.
The Question: How can an angel deceive and not lie?
I
have been living like a hermit, more or less, for over a decade now. I
have been living in the presence of God, experiencing the spiritual,
engaging in Spiritual Warfare. I have been attacked by spiritual
entities, and weathered through them. This is part of how I became
aware of particular things through God.
Given a man has never
been to an ocean, how would he be able to describe it? Given someone
didn't understand spiritual things, that is understandable. Say "I
don't know." Given someone is copping an attitude like an immature
youth, with ugly things in his heart.........that is dangerous being
here and reading this.
At age 28, I was a pretty regular man. I
had been a prodigal son. I had a calloused heart. My heart had been
hardened. (Matthew 13:15-17) I had been a blind and deaf man in sin. I
received a calling around the age of 30. I ended up with a
circumcision of the heart. I was transformed. I started becoming aware
of my heart area, and how God judges the heart and sin. Given you have
not experienced that, and you are reading this copping an attitude, you
need to relax, and check yourself. You are in danger.

When it comes to a Man of God, and God's Judgement, he can't enjoy it. Enjoying it, in his heart, that would be sadistic. Death is the enemy of God. God Almighty is God of the living. The literary figure of death with a scythe, there may have been particular spiritual realities and imagery there. The Grim Reaper is Grim for a reason. He can't enjoy it in his heart. God would take it away. Why does the Grim Reaper have a scythe? He may have been bringing in the harvest in someway, or had a function. (Matthew 3:12)
And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, [j]just as Elijah did?”
55 But He turned and rebuked them, [k]and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. 56 [l]For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village. (Luke 9:54-56)
What
Spirit is someone of? I am not Jesus. I wasn't born of a virgin. I
didn't do the things Jesus did. For a man to call down God's Judgement,
his heart may need to be in the right place. James and John's heart
may not have been in the right place. Also, there is a time and a
season for certain things.
19 Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders[a] in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. 20 He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, “I am not the Messiah.”21 They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?”He said, “I am not.”“Are you the Prophet?”He answered, “No.” (John 1:19-21)
It may be that John the Baptist HAD BEEN a prophet. At that time,
John the Baptist was not a prophet. It is interesting the iconography
of John the Baptist that he has often been given angel wings. It may
have been that John the Baptist ended up something more.
Did I just call John the Baptist an Angel? I did not. We are to receive "Angel Bodies." (Mark 12:25)
An
Angel doesn't have a heart. God judges the Heart. An angel may have
had a function. He was created with something particular in mind. God
judges the heart. An angel may have had a function towards testing the
hearts of man....or other functions. Given a man was deceptive on
purpose, what was in a man's heart? To deceive on purpose, there was
wickedness in a man's heart. A man made a decision. He had freedom of
choice. He did not know God, or was choosing other than God.
When
it comes to God's Judgement, it is not 33 AD. It is not 77 AD. It is
not 1000 AD. It is not 1513 AD. We are in 2025. The Body of Christ is
society. Were certain knowledgeable deceivers, false shepherds, in
position of authority, were they deceiving mankind, leading them into
darkness like in the Parable of the Tenant Farmers. God's plan is God's
Kingdom. Christianity has been spread around The World. Anyone on the
internet, they have access to the Bible. They have freedom of choice
to choose God.
Question: What about a lie of omission?
ReplyDeleteDo you tell everyone you meet your life story? I don't. My life story is not really anyone else business. I have given testimony when it is pleasing to God and edifying.
A lie of omission often comes into play when we are talking about lawful authority. A man was tasked to deliver a message. He delivered the message. He comes back to the sender of the message, the man who gave him the task, and delivers his report. Holding back pertinent information would be a lie of omission.
John The Baptist, in answering the questions of the Pharisees, he was not serving them, nor obligated to tell them his life story. Telling everyone your life story all the time, that would be exhausting....and most people would find it bothersome and annoying.
