I spent several years participating in some theological communities. On Reddit, /r/theology would be a Theological Community. I particpated there. Many people there supposedly had advanced degrees in Divinity. I would share things God gave me, and work to answer their questions with God. One topic that came up was hermenuetics.
Hermeneutics (/hɜːrməˈnjuːtɪks/)[1] is the theory and methodology of interpretation,[2][3] especially the interpretation of biblical texts, wisdom literature, and philosophical texts.[4][5] As necessary, hermeneutics may include the art of understanding and communication.[6] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermeneutics)
I was not taught Hermeneutics. That was probably a good thing. Many of the people from theological communities were taught wrong. In Liberal Christianity, someone may have said "The Bible is Allegorical." In Liberal Christianity, someone was more of "One mind" with Secular Humanist Atheists rather than God fearing Christians. Many students from Divinity Schools were taught "Literal Hermenutics." The same type of people that would say "The Bible is Allegorical," and didn't know the difference between a man and a woman, they are teaching to interpret scripture literally. Did that make sense to you? We will give some examples.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
God has good plans. Many Christians like this scripture. Mom and dad, during son or daughter's high school or college graduation, they may have gifted son or daughter something special with Jeremiah 29:11 on it. A theologian taught in Literal Hermenuetics, he hates that. He seems to hate Christians, and the idea that God may have good plans for them. He wants to say "The Bible is Allegorical," but at the same time, claim that Jeremiah 29, it its context, is specifically for Jewish exiles in Babylon, and not for Christians in 2025. Today, what we are working on is defeating this false train of thought.
I was not trained to think in Hermenuetics. Hermenuetics is a word I didn't know the meaning of in 2014. October 2013, I received a calling from God. I was a "doer." One of the ways we love God is by doing. God's plan is God's Kingdom. I worked to build the Kingdom of God. I was also talking to God, and experiencing the spiritual. I was given a lot of right answers. Over time, I picked up a lot of interesting understandings.
Early Christian Origen taught that there were three different ways to interpret the Bible. He labeled these The Flesh, The Soul, and The Spirit. A child, he learned the story of Noah and the Ark. The story of Noah and the Ark is narrative. The narrative interpretation is The Flesh. It is the basic understanding of the Bible. The Spiritual understanding is the Highest understanding. To understand the Bible spiritually, someone may be on level with the Prophets and particular Saints. This is similar to, but different than, "Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning." There are levels to learning. There are levels to understanding and interpreting the Bible.
The Spiritual is other dimensional, like a fourth dimension. Other dimensional things are complicated. In Ezekiel 1, Prophet Ezekiel has a vision of the spiritual, a vision of angels. Spiritual things are complicated and explained ALLEGORICALLY. Someone who says "The Bible is Allegorical...," are they some sort of prophet or seer? Understanding the allegories in the Bible is getting into a Spiritual or Allegorical understanding. Someone saying the "The Bible is Allegorical," to the exclusion of anything literal, he may have been working to dislodge the allegories, towards using said allegories anyway he cared to, and selectively reading. He was a false teacher.
Going back to Jeremiah 29, is Jeremiah 29 written for the Jewish exiles in Babylon? Yes. In the a big picture way, given someone is growing in faith, a personal relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ, he may need to understand that God has good plans for him. We can find God has good plan in many places in Proverbs where God is guiding someone's steps or path. (Proverbs 16:9) Given someone is trusting in the Lord with all their heart.....he can't get there without understanding "God has good plans." There is a Spiritual understanding there.
Prophet Jeremiah, in Jeremiah 29, God was speaking through Jeremiah. When God speaks, there may have been layers of understanding. Something was both literal and allegorical. Those allegories need to be tied to something literal. Jeremiah 29, is not a just a page in a book. It is The Word of God. There are layers of understanding.
I may be able to go rounds, and we could talk about Isaiah 14:12, and how it relates to Lucifer in the Book of Revelations. Should Christians support The Nation of Israel in 2025? A Christian is Spiritually a Jew through a circumcision of the heart. (Romans 2:28) The Church is spiritually Israel. The fact that there is a Physical State of Israel again is acutely important, and "Nothing New Happens Under the Sun. (Ecclesiastics 1:9-11) Given Christians are Spiritually Jews, and the Church Spiritually Israel, that would mean that Jeremiah 29 would be for Christians. There are a lot of topics we may be able to discuss. I was shepherded to guide some people towards broaching this topic. Someone may need to pray and reflect with God.
Addendum:
Noah and the Ark is a story. Understanding the story like a child would, that would be The Flesh. What types of Spiritual or Allegorical understandings are there in Noah and The Ark?
The Book of Enoch is broken. Some of it may have been destroyed, and it was pieced back together. Someone needs to be careful there. There is a part of the Book of Enoch where Enoch compares different peoples to animals. That may be related to a Spiritual understanding of Noah and The Ark.
Reading through this blog, you may find "The Question." Where did The Question come from? Questions just sort of come to mind sitting in my apartment. Given someone was reading here, or about to, God may have given me something, a thought they had, or a thought they were going to have. Does that sort of make me "Batman," with sonar?
One of the first things Noah did after departing the Ark was build a vineyard. (Genesis 9:20) Noah, and his family, they were the only people on Earth. Mankind is like God's Vineyard. (Isaiah 63:1-3)(Luke 20:9-19)(John 15:1-8)
Question: Given someone had been a false teacher, and had been teaching wrong, and they read this, what should they do?
There are a lot of good jobs out there. In California, someone could make $20 an hour working at McDonald's. An EMT was only making $18 an hour maybe. In LA, they were pushing $30 an hour for the hotel industry. Those may be competitive jobs. As a college graduate with a Masters or PhD, such a person would be very qualified for one of those high paying jobs? An illegal immigrant was being paid $15 or $20 an hour minimum wage. Trump has been flushing the system. There are a lot of jobs out there.
A lot of people have been EGO-invested in being wrong. To repent, someone may need to apologize publicly, and stop teaching. Find a new job. Was someone given a degree from a Divinity school where the professors or the Dean didn't know the difference between boys and girls, and/or, those types of people were in their peer group as professors? Worthless. That program was worthless. That degree is worthless. Your degree does not give you authority in Christianity.
Having a degree, there may be interesting government jobs or something out there, doing something you didn't actually go to college for. Repent. Find another job.
Question: Given there was a Satanic Cult at a University, where would you look?
Fraternity or Sorority row, and bar nearby is an easy one. Since the 1960's, colleges became more known for debauchery than higher learning. What do the Fraternity and Sorority kids talk about? Sit there and drinks some beers, and mind your stare at a TV for awhile.
Anywhere there was an "Alternative Sexuality" program. That is also an easy one.
The Dean of the Library may be suspect. There may have been a fallen angel having to do with something librarians have done.
There is a lot of money in the Football program. Where there is a lot of money, there are chances for corruption. It is all gladiator games and chariot races to me. I am not their friend. Was someone like Jerry Sandusky just a pervert, acting alone, or were the worst offenders those who were pointing the finger when they threw him under the bus?
Colleges have been more known for debauch than higher learning since the 1960's. Colleges are where there are 18 year old girls.
Article: Harvard officially bans sex between undergraduate students and teachers
Harvard banned sex between professors and undergraduates. There may be some interesting stories of abuse, waste, and fraud there like the book "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," but worse. For Harvard, and other schools to ban sex between Professors and Undergraduates, there may have been a problem, and a corrupt culture where 18 year olds were like deer during hunting season at the start of school year.
Did a professor use the term "Intersectionality?" Name drop Aleister Crowley. How do they respond? Are the knowledgeable and/or opinionated in a particular way?
Given I walk into a Divinity school, there may be a reader board. On the reader board, they advertise classes and events. Are there things on the reader board about Feminist Intersectionalism with Christianity and being an LGBT ally? There is a root of a problem there. Someone learns to be polite, ask questions, and follow the root. We need the source.
At Harvard and Oklahoma State, some Satanists were working towards having a Public Black Mass. These are things that may be internet searched. Given someone was looking to organize a Public Black Mass....they were already doing corrupt things "Behind Closed Doors." What were they doing? Who was involved? How deep does it go? Sometimes, they may have been D&D Cosplay Atheists working towards pushing Christian Culture and Taboos. Sometimes not....or there may have been a real villain somewhere in there. In the case of Harvard, the instances of Satanists looking to have a Black Mass in public may have been staged theater. It was politics/religion towards something, where the people saying "No," were in on it.
Disney World has been in the news in its fight with State Government over politics. It became known that Disney World had a special contract with the State where Disney World was its own private tax exempt city. Many Universities, similar to but different than Disney World, have been like a City unto themselves, with its own police force. How much oversight to they have? The Obama/Biden FBI probably wasn't going to investigate them. Given The Peer Reviewed System has been corrupted, and there has been a lot of corruption and bad ideas coming out of colleges, that may be a sign of something passed just debauchery.
Question: What is the issue with "Intersectionalism?"
I was part of /r/religion on Reddit for a year or so. There was a Satanist there who advertised, and did Ask Me Anythings. He was teaching about Black Magic Satanism. What he wrote made perfect sense to me.
There is an Objective Universe. Christianity teaches objectivity. There is Truth. Was someone in The Light of The Lord, or a darkness, like an Allegory of the Cave or The Matrix? Satan was a liar and a thief. He worked to put men into darkness. Satan was known as The Prince of Darkness.
How were men put into darkness? One way was through Intersectionality. A Professor talking about Intersectionality may have been a Post-Modernist follower of Nietzsche working to make changes on how people perceive the universe. That would be Black Magic Satanism.
When I write "Was part of a Reddit sub for x amount of time," as part my daily routine, with my morning coffee, I would be on Reddit, and check the news. I found Reddit looking for places online to talk to people about God. I didn't do anything else on Reddit other than talk about God, sometimes politics talking about God. Daily, I would check the news coming from subs I followed, and comment or answer questions. God may have given me something, and I made a post. Sometimes I was teaching. Sometimes I was testing something God gave me against people who were supposed to be knowledgeable.
December 2024, I was permanently banned from Reddit, by Reddit, after exposing some Satanism in Academia. @ Manonfire63.
